Minarik guitars began after founder M.E. Minarik left BC Rich to pursue his dream of building a guitar for the new millenium! In it's short time the Minarik name has become synonymous with "passion" in the guitar-building industry, and has built a reputation on never cutting corners and continuing the evolution of the guitar with their innovative Tone Tail technology, exotic body styles, and custom tone chambering, and the Minarik Medusa is no exception!

The Minarik Medusa was originally only produced in their Super Custom series, but high demand due to an endorsement from prog-rock heroes Coheed and Cambria increased demand for the guitar so much that Minarik decided to offer a more affordable version- and so you have the new Studio X-Treme Minarik Medusa! The Studio X-Treme features that same famous Medusa body with it's sculpted "blade" shaped bass chamber and "scroll" shaped treble chamber and violin-inspired "C" cuts on the side. The Medusa's Custom Tone Chambering gives it a tonal range unlike any other guitar available today!
